- After a claim has been accepted, DVA usually issue a permanent impairment assessment for a GP to complete.
- This assesses the effect of the injury on the veteran’s function and impairment the injury has on the veteran in all aspects of their life.
- I am able to spend as much time as is needed with the Veteran to thoroughly review all aspects of the assessment (some consultations are upwards of two hours).
